The OSE Outdoor Garden – includes various educational activities, gardening, and maintenance. The OSE Garden is proud to be recognized as the first and oldest Monarch Waystation in Flower Mound (site 614) located in our Bette Williams Outdoor Learning Classroom. Our Monarch Way Station was the first to be registered in the Town of Flower Mound on 6/5/2006. http://www.monarchwatch.org
Campus participation in community environmental events and activities that promote “reduce-reuse-recycle” practices.
Encouraging school participation in annual events that promote sustainability such as Earth Day, Texas Recycles Day, Keep Flower Mound Beautiful, Walk/Bike to School Days, Arbor Day, etc.
Working closely with community outreach, clubs, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc., with garden work days and various beautification efforts throughout our campus.
